The sun's light was produced, flew through space for about 8 minutes, was bent around by these clouds, shot straight through the Manhattan bridge, entered a system of lens elements and was bent again many different ways, then struck the sensor of my camera where it was measured for about 1/1600th of a second before being cut off by the shutter. I caught those photons, and now I'm sharing them with you. I wonder if the photons were consumed when they hit the silicon, or if they went anywhere else
