What stunned me about traveling in India wasn't even always the things I saw, but the shoulder-shrugging normalcy of it. In the US, this kind of thing would be 'that crazy thing we did that one time!!!' But in southern India, two to a seat in the cab and about 9 people in the back with the cargo is just how it goes.
