I was worried about how long it would take me to reach camp that night, due to my late start and lengthy preparations. But I can move pretty quickly on the trail when necessary. I passed two fellows on the way down who appeared to be headed to the same destination, moving slow and overpacked. I worried about their fate later in the evening, but the next morning there they were in camp. So everyone gets their pace.
