The snow adhered dutifully to the firs and birches in this forest. But as this was taken in the woods above and behind our ski cabin, it was likely blown over from the machines which maintain snow on the nearby slopes.

If woods are naturally beautiful with unnatural snow, is my appreciation misguided?
